Matcha DNA Certified Organic Matcha Gree Tea Review 100% Organic

Posted on 7:44 PM by Unknown

Disclaimer: Matcha DNA provided me with a freesamples of their product to review, and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose. Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review in return for the free product.

I love my Green Tea and all the health benefits that go along with it.  So when I heard about an amazing product called....

Matcha DNA Certified Organic Matcha Tea

I couldn't wait to learn more and give it a try.  So when I was sent a full size sample to review.  I was thrilled and looked forward to see what all the hype was about.

First of all...

I love that the 3oz bag of Matcha DNA Tea is resealable, so it keeps the 34 individually packed pouches safe inside the main packing unit.  What a great idea.

And each of the 34 individually packed pouches of Matcha DNA come with an easy to tear notch so you can quickly get to the health and goodness.

A little about Matcha DNA; and what this tea is....

Matcha DNA is a certified 100% Organic powdered green tea.  It is sustainable grown with maximum potency.  It is of premium rare Chinese origin and never radiated.

Nothing is added to this Powdered Green Matcha Tea!

I was surprised to hear about powdered green Matcha tea.  But, to my delight I learned that it dates backs to over 1,000 years ago.  Yes, the Song Dynasty in China practiced drinking powdered tea.

Did you know one glass of Matcha DNA may be the equivalent of 10 glasses of green tea in terms of its nutritional value and antioxidant content.

Matcha is 1200 units/g of ORAC Antioxidant Value.  And to but that figure in terms that one may understand...Pomegranates only have 105 units/g and Blueberries 91 units/g.

So what did I think of Matcha DNA?

First I had to see how to prepare it correctly.

I pre-warmed my mug with hot water.

Then I dumped the water out and added the contents of one of the individually packed pouches of Matcha DNA.

I added hot water slowly over the powdered Matcha DNA (I like to add a little more water that the instructions recommend).

I mixed it up and enjoyed my Matcha DNA, all-natural.  You can add something extra for sweetness.  But I chose not too.  I must share that I am looking forward to keeping a few packages of Matcha DNA with me at work.

I love the earthiness of the Matcha DNA.  It was very hearty and had a nice clean green tea flavor.  I enjoyed that it did not have any bitterness with each drink.  It is great knowing this Superfood Tea is full of antioxidants.

You can purchase your own direct from Matcha or even through Amazon.com.

Casey Caterpillar Feels Left Out Book Review and $25 Amazon Giveaway

Posted on 2:09 PM by Unknown
Disclaimer: I was provided a digital free sample of this story to review and compensation, and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose. Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review in return for the free product and giveaway.

Casey Caterpillar Feels Left Out

Thanks to Amazon.com for the photo.
I have been honored to have the opportunity to review the great children's book above called Casey Caterpillar feels left out.  And the best part is this children's book hasn't been released yet - but don't worry!  You can pre-order you copy via Amazon or Ruby's Studio.  Hence this Review - also offering a $25 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway!  If you win you can use your gift card to pre-order your Casey Caterpillar Feels Left Out Book.

This book is perfect for my 5 year old, especially where he just started school a few weeks ago.  I still can't believe how time flies - he is already in school and having to learn life lessons.  Lessons like feeling left out.

I must say the illustrations are so bright and draw you right into this life lessons storybook.  This brilliant book is about...

"Sweet little Casey Caterpillar feels left out when Lucy Ladybug and Bette Bumblebee play "Air Acrobatics" because Casey doesn’t yet have wings! When Mentor Bailey Butterfly encourages Casey to share how she feels, the whole gang learns an important lesson about empathy."

The words are easy to see and read.  I feel there is a perfect amount of words to a page to keep your child interested throughout this educational story.
Thank you Ruby's Studio for the photo.

I love the info that is shared on the back cover including:

"When Bette Bumblebee and Lucy Ladybug suggest playing their favorite flying game, Casey Caterpillar (who doesn't yet have wings) feels terribly left out by her friends. Upset, Casey scoots off and is met on the path by wise Bailey Butterfly, who helps Casey build the courage to tell her friends how she feels. With lush, colorful illustrations, this thoughtful exploration of friendship encourages young readers to solve their conflicts through compassion, consideration and kindness.

· Teaches empathy through relatable characters and situations

· Offers children the words to express when they feel excluded

· Gorgeous images and memorable characters

· First in a series of children’s books featuring this charming garden universe"

Casey Caterpillar Feels Left Out is meant for ages 3 to 6 years old; with a grade level from Preschool to 2nd Grade.  It is a hard cover book with 30 wonderful pages.  The publisher is Ruby's Studio.

And if you are wondering about the Author of this life lessons book...her name is Samantha Kurtzman-Counter.  She is a children's book author, children's show producer/director and President of The Mother Company.  And I think the best fact of all about this author is, "She is a Mother"!  A mother of a boy named Jack who just entered Kindergarten.  So she understands what is important to us parents.

So who is ready to enter to win their own $25 Amazon Gift Card?

Is that a yes, I hear??

Don't forget to show some love on the sponsors social media pages.

BONEO Canine Maintenance Formula Supplement - Canine Bone Health

Posted on 7:51 PM by Unknown

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

BONEO Canine® Maintenance Formula

This is not your traditional Glucosamine and Chondroitin Joint Supplement for Fido!

BONEO is for your canine's bone and joint health.  Is it revolutionary and all-natural.  That is music to my ears being a proud owner of a Lab and Corgi (both rescue dogs).  Espeically since our Lab is aging and is starting to move a little slower.  Plus one of his hips at times seems to be painful and slows him down.

I had to learn more about BONEO before trying my free bottle on by beloved dogs.

BONEO is veterinarian recommended for bone health and is proven for canine bone and joint support.  And BONEO was inspired by a rescue dog named Neo (ahhhh!)

Like I said before BONEO is revolutionary.  The reason I say that is.....this product is multi-functional.  It is powered by patented Neo-PORTIN® Complex, a blend of Ribonuclease-enriched Lactoferrin (R-ELF), Coenzyme-Q10 and β-Glucan.

The active ingredients in this glycoprotein-based technology have been shown to help enhance bone turnover activity, promote joint comfort and increase absorption of nutrients. The formula is also fortified with bone-specific co-factors, minerals and antioxidant synergists for broad-spectrum support.

I was surprised to see that each bottle has 90 tasty (my dogs told me) liver and sausage flavored tabs.  The retail price is $39.99.  By following the directions on the bottle - small dogs (up to 10 pounds) get 1 tab everyday.  Medium dogs ( 11-50 pounds) get 2 tabs a day.  A Large dog (Over 50 pounds) get 3 tabs a day.  You can learn more at www.boneocanine.com.

So what do my dogs think of BONEO?  Well if you look at the photo below - I think that says it all.  I found the bottle in our Corgi's dog bed after I went to work earlier this week.  Thank Goodness he couldn't figure out how to get the lid off.

But truly...my dogs look forward to taking their BONEO in the morning.  And I love how much easier our Lab is moving around.  I feel that BONEO has helped him greatly.

Card.com Prepaid Debit Visa Card Review

Posted on 11:50 PM by Unknown

Disclaimer: Card.com provided me with a free samples of their product to review, and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose. Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review in return for the free product.

Do you have credit issues in your past.  Do you find it hard to get a credit or even a debit card?  What a scary situation, especially since everything now a days seems like you need access to a credit or debit card.  Like when you book at room at a hotel.  Most require you guarantee your room with a credit card.

So what do you do?  How can you get the credit card / debit card you deserve.

Well that is what Card.com is for.

Card.com is an amazing service that can get you set up with your own prepaid Visa card.  And not just any prepaid card!  You can select your own design of card from over hundreds of styles.

I selected the Chocolate Labrador card for my review.

Can you believe you can get your own Card.com with NO Credit Check and it can be used everywhere Visa® or MasterCard® is accepted.  There are NO check cashing fees.  NO overdraft fees or late fees.  And can be used to access to ATMs world.

It is so quick and easy to sign up for your own card and load it with money. I like how the Pre-paid card arrives in the mail.

In a very plain envelope. Perfect.

Once your Pre-paid Visa arrives in the mail just active the card online or via a toll free number.

Then you are good to add money to your card. You can add money via Green Dot, MoneyPak, Western Union, via PayPal, link to your bank or even an easy direct deposit.

I like how you can call or check online for your exact balance on your card. I loved the convenience of Card.com. But I did find it challenging to use the card at one of our local stores. As my shopping trip was for over the balance of my card provided. The cashier couldn't figure out how to just charge the amount that I had pre loaded on the card. I gave up that day, but used it for my next trip and I made sure it was under the amount owed. The Card.com worked perfectly that time.

Just make sure you are aware of the fees associated with the card. And I feel if you have credit issues this fees will not be a problem as having a credit card/debit is almost a necessity now.

There is a $5.95 monthly maintenance fee - but it is waived when you load at least $800 in the prior 30 days through direct deposit.

Check out the Card.com website for further details on this service.

Time for a heater tune-up! American Comfort Heating in the Chicago/Elk Grove Village

Posted on 10:54 PM by Unknown
*sponsored via American Comfort Heating

It is hard to believe after the heatwave that most of the country has been enduring for the last several weeks, that autumn is just around the corner.  And if you have been watching the news or even reading the Farmer's Almanac predictions for our upcoming winter look to be cold and snowy.

And if you are from the Chicago / Elk Grove Village area of Illinois the Almanac is saying your winter of 2013 / 2014 is going to be Biting Cold and Snowy.  So what does that mean?  It means it is time for a heatertune-up.  Could you imagine being in your cozy home this winter and having your only source of heat stop working?  What a cold and frighting (even frigid) thought.  Think about what it might cost to repair your heater during the middle of a big storm or cold wave?

My belief is that proactive steps are a necessity to help prevent large future expenses.  So if you are in the Chicago / Elk Grove Village communities pick up your phone and give American Comfort Heating a call.  They can make sure you are ready for the forcasted cold and snowy weather.  Take the steps now to get your heater tuned-up.

I know all well from personal experience how important a tune up can be.  I will never forget the one year, we chose to "save money" (I use that term very, very loosely) and not have our heating unit inspected and tuned up for the winter.

Any guesses on what happened?  Let me say two words; Christmas Eve!  Yes, Christmas Eve and our house cooled down and cooled down.  It became so freaking cold we were wearing our coats, gloves and hats inside.  What were we too do?  If we called to have our heater checked, we knew we would have to pay an arm and a leg and all our Christmas Gifts!!!  But, if we didn't call; we would survive the night?  What would Christmas morning be like.  Ugggg, if we wouldn't have tried to "save money" maybe we wouldn't be in this frigidly cold winter not-so wonderland.

We ended up making that dreaded phone call and opened our pocket books up to pay for much needed heat to get us through our Christmas Eve and morning.

Honestly this did happen to us.  And I swear it will never happen again!

As a parent I feel we owed this to our children for their health and safety.  Could you imagine if we would have had a leak or something worse?  Saving a few bucks now is no excuse for possibility making your home unsafe.  And who knows a heater tune-up could even make a positive difference in your heating bills.  Leaks could be found and fixed so you are not heating inefficiently. Suggestions could be made in order to make your home more comfortable during the winter months.

So make that phone call today and get your heater tune-up scheduled.  It is better to be proactive than reactive!
