How do you make things magical in your kitchen?  Sometimes it can be the most simple ingredient or kitchen gadget or tool that can create a life long memory.  While searching the web I found a great and fun kitchen tool I would love to purchase.  It is called a Twisty Whisk from Kitchen Magic.  I love the wooden handle and bright colors of the silicone covered wires.  Just looking at it makes me smile.

Another thing that made me smile about the Kitchen Magic Twisty Whisk is the price.  I was pleased to see it only costs $8.00.  I consider that a value and worth the money.  I know it would be to talk of my kitchen.  Now I just have to get busy and place my order.

Week 5 - Nutrisystem Oh My Gosh!!! #NSNation

Week 5 on Nutrisystem has brought along a big challenge due to my work load....getting all the needed food eaten during the day.  I just received my new shipment of food and this time I ordered a lot more bars as they are easier to take on the go.  But I have had a problem getting in one of my powerfuels and sometimes both smart carbs almost everyday this week.

My job doesn't allow for me to take food with me on calls.  And some of my calls this week have included 12 hour days.  I know it is very important to get all the necessary nutrition while on Nutrisystem, otherwise your body can think it is starving and stop losing the weight. 

I still haven't missed a work out since starting Nutrisystem 35 days ago.  I actually have added one different work out in to change things up.  And it is such a challenge...my muscles are feeling it!  UGGG!!!  It is Tae Bo Amped. 

I couldn't believe my eyes when I stepped on the scale!  I thought I had lost some more weight this week because I am wearing a pair of jeans I haven't worn in 2 years!  And my belt is on its last notch...looking like some clothes shopping is in my future.

I still can't believe my taste buds!  How can something that looks like ice cream...has the texture of ice cream...and tastes like ice cream...actually be a frozen protein shake?

I can't get over how smooth and creamy all the flavors have been that I have sampled.  But, the trick is to leave your Arctic Zero pint sit out for 5 to 10 minutes before enjoying.  Otherwise the frozen dessert will be very hard and difficult to scoop out.  But, once it as warmed up a little bit, the transformation into a rich and creamy protein dessert happens.  A dessert with Zero Fat, Gluten Free, Lactose Free and low on the glycemic index, which makes it work for type 2 diabetics.  My boys have snuck a few bites of my Arctic Zero and they wanted more as it is delicious.

Don't worry if you are a choco-holic like me, Arctic Zero has you dipped or should I say covered?  They offer delightful Arctic Zero Bars. 

These Bars come in four different flavors, but each bar is then dipped into a wonderful dark chocolate coating.  And these indulgent frozen treats will only cost you 85 calories per bar.  I know you are going to be shocked...but my favorite bar was the chocolate, covered in chocolate....Make sure to let you bar warm up just like the pint, otherwise I had problems with my bar sectioning off the stick.  But I don't mind...I just grab a plate and a spoon and enjoy!

Stonefire All Natural Naan FlatBreads Review

Personally this summer continues to lead me down an exciting path to health and wellness.  I have been making better food choices and working out on a daily basis.  And let me tell you...our record temps continue to challenge meal time at our house.

I hate heating up our house to prepare anything!  Plus with it being so hot, many times I am in search of something on the lighter side.  Like a salad and something to compliment it.

So when I found Stonefire Flatbreads on Facebook my mouth began to water. 

This All Natural Naan appeared it could and soon would be an welcome addition to our daily meals.

Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads is a family-owned bakery with over 40 years of experience.  They have a very simple mission: To make one of a kind, authentic flatbreads.  And I now can say from personal experience...they have succeeded!! 

Founded by the Ajmera family, Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads bake authentic naan, roti and pita breads using traditional baking methods and the finest natural ingredients. This flavorful business is located in Ontario Canada. I never had the privilege or experience to sample Naan before and wasn't quite sure what I had in store. 

I learned from Stonefire the key to creating authentically light and naturally smoky-tasting naan is heat.  In order to make Stonefire naan, they have created the world's largest commericial tandoor oven.  This oven is able to sear the naan which is required for true Indian flatbread.  I couldn't believe Stonefire naan is ready within seconds of being placed into this special oven.

So what did I think of the three different flavors of naan I received to review??

Two Thumbs up!!! (I would give it three, if I had three thumbs)

My favorite was the Whole Grain Naan.  It fit perfectly in to my NS meal plan.  I loved the light smoky flavor and the naan's texture.  It was perfect and delicious served warm.  I just lightly misted the Naan and popped it into the microwave for a few seconds.  I enjoyed it as a side with my main meal.

The Original Naan was also beautiful to look at and better to eat.  Naan is so versatile and makes a perfect dipping snack or appetizer.  It holds up very well to dips and sauces.  Any my boys love it!

The Fire Roasted Garlic Naan has flavor written all over it.  It smells delicious.  I haven't tried this flavor yet, it is currently in the freezer.  I am planning on using this naan as a pizza crust for a perfect garden veggie pizza.  I will have to let you know how it turns out.

The reason I placed our last package of Naan is the freezer is that Stonefire Naan is made with all natural ingredients and is perishable.  They recommend eating their Naan within 6 days or freezing it.

Superfood uses a very unique five element food combining based on ancient techniques to balance out their recipes with all five taste.  Along with the taste goes one healthy product for you and your entire family.

So which Superfood Snack was my favorite?  

I would have to say all of them but I truly if I had to pick just one it would be Chocolates Goji Treats.

This simple little nugget of goodness and flavor has 15 ingredients.  It is very complex with the softer texture and added crunch from the different varieties of seeds.  The Goji berries added a nice tartness and a surprise heat end note from the Cayenne pepper.

The Green Chocolate Dream also contained Goji Berries.  I love their bright addition to this healthy sweet treat.  My favorite flavor that hid amongst the goodness was coconut.  It added a nice sweet and summer aroma. 

Chocolate Cherry Qi was a match of flavors made in heaven.  I was pleasantly surprised by the cinnamon...it actually worked and brought this energy nugget to an extreme flavor level.

Brazilian Chocolate Ecstasy was packed full of delicious Brazil Nuts.  Their white colored flesh stood out from the very dark chocolate.  I personally feel this was the most tame of all the flavors and my boys enjoyed them.
