If you have never head of Nimble...let me share a little info so you can see much Nutrition is packed into each of these bars.
Nimble bars are based on 40-30-30 nutrition principle. What does that mean you ask?
40% of calories are from carbohydrates, 30% are from quality whey and milk proteins (nimble contains no soy protein) and 30% is from dietary fat. This formula was developed to stabilize blood sugar levels and promote a slow glycemic response to help you enjoy delicious, lasting energy. I know as a full time working and mother of 3 little boys...it is so important to make healthy food choices to be able to keep up with life.
Nimble is making that easy as each small bar contains 5 grams of Fiber, 10 grams of Protein, Calcium, Iron, Vitamin D and Vitamin B6 for your body. Plus 10mg of Lutein, Beta-Carotene and Antioxidants C and E for your skin. They are so easy to take along anywhere.
I was provided the New Nimble Yogurt Orange Swirl and Peanut Butter Nutrition Bars to sample and review.
I have to say first I was delighted how such a petite bar could satisfy my hunger (considering each bar is only 120 calories). Both flavors had a nice firm but soft and smooth texture. They did not stick in my teeth and were pleasant to eat (If you are looking for something that taste like a candy bar these are not for you. But if you are looking at making healthier food choices...Nimble bars are a great choice.)
My favorite was the Peanut Butter. It had a nice light peanut butter flavor and was not overly sweet. It was similar to other nutrition bars I have eaten in the past..but didn't leave me feeling like I was eating "twigs and sticks".
The Yogurt Orange Swirl was good and very light in flavor. I was able to catch some slight orange tones. I would definitely purchase both of these flavors again.
