I few months ago I had the privilege and pleasure to review and giveaway some amazing and good for you snacks created by Simply 7. I was excited to be recontacted by Simply 7 requesting that I review their new lines of Pomegranate Chips and new flavors of Hummus and Lentil Chips.
So what do you think I said?
Just in case you missed my other review, here is a little refresher on what Simply 7 is all about. Simply 7 uses Simple Ingredients and creates Simply Delicious Snacks.
I am going to start with the Hot and Spicy first. The Jalapeno Lentil chips lit my mouth a blaze with flavor and heat. The tame, pretty, very light colored crisp chips (Looks can and are deceiving!) totally captured the natural spicy heat from Jalapeno Peppers which go very well with the Lentils. These are not for the faint of heart.
The New flavor ... Roasted Red Pepper Simply 7 Hummus Chips are works of art. I love the fun shape of these tasty healthy treats. They are a little sweet and full of garlic and onion flavor.

The Simply 7 Pomegranate Chips were a new experience for us. I must say they are a exquisite pink color. I love know that the color is 100% natural with no artificial colors or flavors added.
I sampled each of the 3 flavors of Pomegranate Chips offered including:
Sea Salt, White Cheddar (pictured above) and Black Pepper.
I am still amazing after sampling all the flavors how the natural sweetness and slight fruitiness shines through with each satisfying crunchy bite.
The Sea Salt Pomegranate reminds me of Big Kid Kettle Corn. The sweetness of the pomegranate came across my taste buds first that followed with a nice suttle saltiness.
The White Cheddar actually worked with the flavor profile. As the white cheddar is naturally salty and goes excellent with the fruitful flavor of the pomegranate.
The Black Pepper Pomegranate brought memories of enjoying a garden fresh tomato with fresh cracked black pepper on it. The beautiful fruit is enhanced by the light sprinkle of black pepper and a dusting of salt.
