Thank you for creating NEW Products for 2013!  And Just in time for Spring and Summer to kick into full swing.  And what a great and tasty way to get the necessary and balanced nutrition to help me maintain my huge weight loss (over 50 pounds now!) that started almost a year ago.

I was so thrilled to be given the opportunity to review and giveaway two of the NEW PROBAR product lines....including the CORE Protein Bars and new flavors of the PROBAR Meal-Bars.

In the past I have reviewed PROBAR products including Fruition Bars.  Just in case you missed that post.  Here is a little about PROBAR.  Everything they make is 100% Vegan and made with all-natural ingredients.  And most of the all-natural ingredients are raw or as PROBAR says..."Simply Real".  

It seems like I typically eat at least 8 protein bars a week.  Protein bars have become a meal replacement for me and sometime a hearty snack, when I need the extra calories.  

Let me tell you after enjoying my 1st CORE Protein Bar (the Cookie Dough variety)...I felt so guilty....at first.  

Really!  I did!  It tricked me into thinking I was enjoying an unhealthy candy bar.  CORE Protein Bars are out of this world!  I actually have nothing negative to say about this indulgent chocolate coated protein bar which is packed full of 20 grams of healthy plant protein.  And not only does each CORE Protein Bar contain plant protein, they also contain chia seeds.  Chia seeds are suppose to help with hydration and recovery too.

Typically a CORE Protein Bar will cost around $2.99 a bar.  And it is worth every last penny!  CORE Protein Bars can be purchase directly from PROBAR.  

And CORE PROBAR's are available in four flavors including:

Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Mint Chocolate and Brownie Crisp.  This truly is like enjoying a candy bar but only better, more filling and healthy!  

I love the chocolate coating and the inside is soft, yet crunchy and enjoyable.  You will forget it is a protein bar!  Enjoy...to your health!!

PROBAR Meal-Bars have been around for awhile, but they have expanded their line to include 4 new flavors: Chocolate Coconut, Mint Chocolate, Oatmeal Raisin and Super Berry & Greens. Also other flavors included for sale on the PROBAR site for approximately $3.29 a bar are:

Original Blend, Whole Berry Blast, Superfood Slam, Koka Moka, Superfruit Slam, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate and Peanut Butter.  

The Original Blend PROBAR Meal-Bar was so sweet, sticky and chewy.  It was a delight to replace a meal with this treat.  It was packed full of fruits, nuts and whole grains.  The portion size was a little small at 3oz, but it is full of everything you need so make sure you don't eat more then one as a meal replacement, as you might be tempted.  Each bar contains around 370 Calories.

The Koka Moka PROBAR Meal Bar.....

Is any chocolate and coffee lovers dream come true.  It is also very moist and chewy.  The chocolate is strong like a good cup of dark Joe and the coffee flavor permeates every bite.  This bar is not for the faint of heart...it is a die hard coffee and chocolate lovers need!

What can I say....but fruit, fruit and more delicious moist fruit with every bite!!!
